Q: Do you offer evening and weekend appointments?

A: Yes! We are open every Saturday and if you need an appointment later than our availability scheduler shows please give us a call. Our office line is 303-805-8387.

Q: How far do you go? What areas do you provide service?

A: We are based out of Parker, CO. We serve South Denver, Castle Rock, Castle Pines, Franktown, The Pinery, Parker, Elizabeth, Kiowa, Aurora, Centennial, Lone Tree, Greenwood Village, Highlands Ranch and most parts of Littleton. Give us a call, we sometimes travel outside of this radius for special referrals, previous clients and multiple pet appointments. Also, we offer phone consultations as an alternative way to be of service to you.

Q: What types of animals do you treat?

A: Our practice provides integrative care for dogs, cats, backyard poultry and most other birds. In addition we can help you with all sorts of pocket pets such as hamsters and guinea pigs, as well as lizards, snakes, turtles and tortoises.

Q: Do you offer reduced cost veterinary care?

Q: How much do your services cost?

A: Most of our services are in line with local price points at veterinary clinics. We are a locally owned and operated small business and we believe that high quality vet care should be affordable and available to every pet owner.

Q: Do you do surgery? How about dental procedures?

A: Journeys Mobile Veterinary Services does not currently provide surgical or anesthetic procedure services. We hold very high standards of medical care, therefore we do not conduct procedures at your house nor our own. We work with local trusted and experienced vets and can offer recommendations, support and follow up care for your furry family members.

Q: I just bought a new puppy, do you offer a free exam for new puppies?

A: Journeys Mobile Veterinary Services chooses not to support pet stores that sell puppies. The majority of puppies in pet stores come from ‘back-yard breeders’ and ‘puppy mill-like’ operations. Not only does this support irresponsible breeding and overpopulation, but it often results in puppies that are riddled with health issues. Our veterinary practice chooses to support principles over profit. We will not provide a free or reduced cost veterinary examination for any puppy requiring a vet check within 7 days of purchase.

 

We WILL, however, provide a reduced cost physical exam and consultation for any pet adopted from a shelter or rescue. Journeys Mobile Veterinary Services will cover 50% for an in-home comprehensive exam for your newly adopted pet.

Q: Where is your clinic located?

A: All of our services are mobile. We reduce stress by coming to your home where your family is comfortable. We bring the supplies, medicines and instruments that we need to care for your pet in specially organized kits and we travel to you in our 4WD truck.
